3H initiated the concept of Indian food in QSR with Home delivery & Take Away kicking off from New Delhi. 3H – Hunger, Hygiene & Health is one of its kind concepts of Home Delivery & Take Away. Most of the QSR’s are Western & Snacks oriented. 3H is full meal with Combos & ala – carte menu.  In an interview, Mr. Rohin Lal, Founder & CEO, 3H Kitchen shares the growth and future plans of the company.

Tell us how and when the 3H Kitchen Started?

Being a Hotel Management alumni, my inclination towards F&B was always there. With the initial support from Family & Friends I started with my own QSR restaurant, 3H Kitchen. Our First Outlet gets operational in 2011 at New Delhi

What inspired the brand to take the franchise route?

3H Kitchen was serving cuisine (North Indian, Chinese & Tandoori) which is well appreciated across India as well as abroad & we develop the overall structure from its initial days to make it franchisable, as I was quite certain that it can reap good results in any location by keeping management checks in place.

What is the USPs? How are you different from the competitors?

As our Name we stand to fulfill – “Hunger, Hygiene & Health” which is also our USP. Our strong focus to provide Hygienic prepared food to satisfy the hunger of our customers keeps the ball rolling. Irrespective of the Outlet Format our focus remain the same

What qualities do you look in prospective franchisees for your company?

We look out for people with passion for food & entrepreneurial instincts. Without saying they should financially capable to make project investment & manage initial operating costs.  Age is not a bar, till the person is ready to learn.

How many franchisees do you have and in which all cities?

11 outlets out of which 9 are franchised. Currently our outlets are in Delhi, Gurgaon (Haryana), Uttar Pradesh&Dhanbad (Jharkahand).

What type of business support and training do you offer to your franchisees?

We strongly believe that success of any Outlet/ Franchisee is primarily dependent on knowledge that he acquires. We being our expertise & commitment to our partners & provide both centralize and On-site training & support to franchisee as well as the staff recruited. With central operational team already in place; provide all necessary support require for smooth running of the outlet.

What are the challenges that can be faced by a franchisee in this business? How can they overcome these challenges?

One need that realize that taking a franchise is just the first step as in any other business venture one need to put in his heart & soul in order to succeed. As an organization we provide all necessary support to create a robust back-end for our franchise partner & franchise should focus on client servicing as this is the key to success in food business.

What are the company’s future plans in terms of expansion through franchising?

Company is moving aggressively & plans to add another 20 outlets across North India. We are also exploring Master Franchise Partners for South, West & East India.
