American fast food chain Taco Bell is all set to scale up and expand its operations in India 9 years after the opening of the first food joint in the country.
In May 2019, Taco Bell announced that it will be joining hands with Burman Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. making it one of its master franchise. This took the New Delhi based company to new heights as it will be the top most company in terms of store count.
Before sub franchising the stores to other local partners, Burman Hospitality will have full control over them. Burman was long before roped in by Taco Bell as their key partner back in 2015 itself. It provided them with an opportunity to establish 35 stores and revamp the facilities to make the brand more contemporary.
Ankush Tuli, managing director, Taco Bell, Asia Pacific and Middle East hopes to expand business by establishing stand alone outlets, kiosks in food courts, in-line restaurants in hope to familiarise the country with the Tex-Mex cuisine and boost the company’s performance.
