No doubt that Starbucks is in the premium league of coffee chains. To add more, the brand is planning to sell premium roastery in 1000 stores of Starbucks. Premium roasted coffee is different from the coffee powder which we get in regular stores. The premium roasted coffee will be available to the customers just 3 to 5 days after roasting. Starbucks had opened its Reserved Roastery and Tasting Room in December’14 at the base of Capitol Hill. Now the customers can get the small batch coffee straight from the roastery. The brand has opened Reserve Roastery and Tasting room in Seattle. Starbucks has aslo recently added coconut milk to its menu.
Starbucks was started in Olympia, Washington in the year 1985. The brand is very stringent towards franchisees and entertains very limited number of applicants if the applicants fulfill their predefined set of criteria. It franchises on a very limited basis.
