Latin Quarters to explore smaller towns through e-retailing

Latin Quarters (LQ), an apparel and accessories brand for women is targeting smaller towns for bigger expansion. The company will establish its online platform and physical stores to venture in these cities.

Elaborating on their plans for the brand, Saurabh Jhingan, Director and Co-Founder, Ikon Retail, parent company of Latin Quarters says, “Keeping pace with online retail industry, we have already started with our e-commerce site Latinquarters.com. As far as next financial year is concerned, we are keen on taking LQ to Tier II and III cities. We also have plans to spread our presence in international destinations, in coming years.”

“In today’s time, having an online presence is imperative. As people are becoming increasingly net savvy and internet penetration is growing exponentially, online purchases are bound to grow proportionally. Many brands are encouraging sales by providing online discounts to customers and making shopping experience a memorable one. As far as the women’s wear category is concerned, online shopping is helping the modern women get variety in styles and designs under one roof,” explains Jhingan, further highlighting the reasons behind launching e-tailing website.

The brand operates from over 80 points of sale across 22 cities. LQ was founded by a group of fashion enthusiasts with a shared vision of charting an explored territory in an unconventional style. The first LQ store opened in 2006 in New Delhi.
