Powered by Aptech, Lakme Academy launched its new centre in Hyderabad which was inaugurated by a well-known Telugu writer and cinema heartthrob, Maya Nelluri.
This collaborative venture between Lakme Lever Pvt. Ltd. and Aptech Ltd. aims to augment the activities of the academy all over the country. The academy has a vision to become the biggest in the wellness and beauty care sector. Currently there are 125 centres in the country out of which 85 are fully operational.
As Maya Nelluri rightly said, “Behind every cinema star or artist lies hours of effort by the beauty, hair care, wellness professional and vocational training. We certainly owe it to them for our tremendous success. I want to convey to all the students out there that this is a great industry to be in, especially since two of the biggest names, Lakme and Aptech, partner to this knowledge to you.”
The centre was opened at Dilsukhnagar. A lot of reasons after being factored in, Dilsukhnagar was the ideal and strategic location. In the heart of the city, it is one of the largest industrial and residential complexes in the city. Emphasizing on holistic well being and especially keeping the millenial and new middle class population in mind, this academy provides a centre for vocational training as well these are the predominant consumers of the beauty, hair care and wellness service.
