The business started with the aim to bring Indian Handicraft in the global markets and help increase its worth worldwide. It also hopes to push the Indian craftsmen who have faced competition from foreign goods for a long time. They provide tribes with a means of livelihood for the extremely intricate and exquisite products they design.
Handikart was founded by Mr. Priyank Varshney, a chartered accountant, who wanted to venture in the e-commerce space to expand this unique talent and represent the Indian culture globally. Moved by the prowess of these gifted artists, he thought it was his responsibility to showcase this wonderful talent at the worldwide stage.
