1.Throw some light on your brand, ‘RICHFEEL’

The journey of Richfeel started with two visionaries Dr. Apoorva Shah and Dr. Sonal Shah, India’s first certified trichologists, who in 1986 ventured into the profession of hair and scalp care treatments and pioneered the science of Trichology in India.

Richfeel & Its Promoters Have received many prestigious awards in the segment of Hair Care like, Ronald Salinger Award, India’s Greatest Brand Builder Award – CMO Asia, Best Hair Restoration Provider, Maharashtra Vaibhav Award, etc. in both National & International Categories. Recent one to add in feather of Richfeel brand is “India’s Most Trusted Hair Care Brand” – 2014

Richfeel is the only brand dedicated to all kind of Hair & Scalp Related solutions under one roof.

Richfeel Has also expanded its presence into Wellness market with Its SPA & Pioneered into Trichology and Medical Education in India for Doctors.

2.When did you start franchising? Why did you choose to expand via franchising Route?

Franchising started @ Richfeel,  10 years ago. We want to offer an opportunity to other individual or entrepreneur to become part of this growing hair care market in health care industry.  It is also the best way of expansion, when we are looking to grow  at a faster pace.

3.  What is the Unique Selling Proposition (USP) of Richfeel? How is your brand different from your competitors?

We are the only brand in the market which is dedicated specifically to all kind of Hair & Scalp Problems and cure it with medication, therapies, Non-surgical  or Surgical Solutions under one roof, along with providing services to individuals who is looking to maintain his / her good hair for the future.  We are the only brand in the market, which offer personalized solutions to Hair & Scalp Problems, based on facts derived by Scalp Check & Hair Analysis done exclusively at our RICHFEEL LAB. All other players in the market are multi specialist, not focusing much on one vertical of Trichology, as we do.

We have unique solutions, treatments & patented therapeutic treatments for patients, in collaboration with Recognized international research institute or Bio-medical organization & imported ingredients. We constantly innovate as a brand to be able to provide the best solutions to our customers in the hair care segment not only within the country but also across the world.

4. How many outlets do you presently have in India? Kindly share your expansion plans.

65 centers spread across India, Including 20 Franchisee & few more are lined up to be open by end of FY 14-15. We are looking at total of 100 – 150 outlets by the end of FY 15-16. Major Expansion will be into Tier-I, II & III cities of India.

5. What kind of support and training you offer to your franchisees?

We have two kind of franchise models.

FOFO: In this model, Franchise will do Investment & we will provide them entire support mechanism, in terms of Site Selection, Interior Layout & Design, End-to-End recruitment, Training, Center Launch, Majority share in Marketing Expense on ongoing basis, Access to all unique & patented therapies offered at our center, medical equipments, etc. We will also provide day to day operations guidance, SOP & know-how of the business, to run it successfully.

FOCO: in this model, franchise will make Investment & we will manage entire operations on behalf of them. We will give the min. guarantee of cash inflow per month or Top line share of the business generated at the center, whichever is higher. This kind of model is not available in the market.

6. What all parameters do you follow before opening your outlet at a particular location?

We will look at financial capability of the prospective franchisee, Location suggested, Potential footfall & demographics of given location, Available existing brands & visibility of the Brand in that location.

7. Please share the Franchise Criteria of Richfeel with us.

Space Reqd. 700 – 750 sq. ft. (Non-Metro), 1000 sq. ft. (Metro)

Investment: 40 – 65 Lacs (Depending on Location)

Agreement Term:  FOFO Model: 5 yrs., FOCO Model: 9 yrs.

ROI: 40 – 50%, Entire Break-Even within 2 yrs.
