Australia’s Muffin Break is planning to expand its range of delicious bakery delights and other savouries for the Indian palette across different locations.
Launched last year in New Delhi, the master franchisee holder, South Asian Food & Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd (SAHSPL), plans pan-India presence with an expected investment of Rs. 40 crores.
Encouraging the ‘Me-Moment’ for Indians
For Indians, Muffin Break offers unique mulberry and chikoo flavors apart from the gluten-free or low-fat varieties, amongst others. With a successful opening in New Delhi last year, Mr. Juneja is confident that the Golden Bean award-winning brand will spread the warmth of these mouth-watering baked delicacies and their unique coffee blends across the country.
The yummy baked treats are served oven-fresh from each outlet every day by using natural ingredients. This is the USP of the renowned brand, according to the Foodco Group Pty Ltd Executive Director Robert Fitzgerald. The intention of partnering with the Indian hospitality industry is to let Indians enjoy the variety of flavours offered across the world.
Mr. Juneja believes that these high quality food products will swirl the taste buds of Indians like never before. Indians could look to experiment with over 200 muffin flavours giving stiff competition to the existing bakery chain outlets in the country. Both muffin and coffee lovers can look forward to exciting varieties in the nearest Muffin Break outlets that are expected to be launched soon.
Crossing over from Canada in the 1980s, Muffin Break settled in the Australian continent with the Foodco Group in 1989. With over 370 franchisees across the world in countries like UK, China, New Zealand and other locations, Muffin Break retail outlets have catered to the sweet-tooth of bakery treat-lovers with varieties of muffins, pies, sweet baked treats and other savouries offered by this mega-brand. Interesting coffee-blends that go together with these sugary delights have captured the people all over the world.
